[Gift] Day in the life of Dr. Frankie

‘Frankie!’, a voice sounded through the hall ‘are you there?’. While Frankie was taking her break a slender brown Xero had walked into the clinic. The Xero looked around for a bit and then took a seat while waiting for her to help him. ‘Sorry it took so long’ Frankie said when she entered the hallway, ‘how can I help you today’. He was one of her regular patients, an adventurer that tended to take too many risks and get hurt doing so. He explained that he fell down a hole and now his arm was hurting quite a lot, Frankie quickly started inspecting the arm. ‘I’m sorry Fenrir, I think you broke it’ he looked sad ‘but can you fix it?’. Frankie laughed and nodded ‘we do have to make some scans first and then we’ll get you fixed up’. Frankie left the room to get her equipment, technology has developed fast and with the help of a special device the arm would heal in a week. ‘Oh hey Tiki!’ she said to a Xero walking around the clinic. ‘Hey Frankie, treating a patient?’

‘Yeah Fenrir broke his arm again’

‘Again? it's been maybe a month’

‘You know how he is always adventuring, falling for traps and getting hurt’

‘We’ll hope he heals soon’ Tiki said when grabbing something for her pouch ‘and put this on his cast’. She had given Frankie a sticker with a smiley face on it. Tiki was one of the nurses in the clinic and she just loved cheering people up with stickers. 

‘Ready Fenrir?’ she looked at him and when he nodded she pulled on his arm ‘aaaa’ the brown Xero yelled. ‘Sorry but you don’t want your arm to heal crooked’ he shrugged ‘doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. A small device started beeping and a greenish shine covered the broken arm. ‘It should take around a week to heal’ Frankie told him when putting his arm in a cast ‘you can come back after to take it off’ and Fenrir nodded satisfied. 

‘See you in a week’ Tiki waved him goodbye, after of course putting some more stickers on the cast. ‘How do you always have so many stickers?' Frankie jokingly asked her and she tilted her head and smiled ‘I just do and before I can run out I buy even more’. 

The sun was setting and the clinic just closed ‘see you tomorrow’ Frankie said before walking out of the door. It had been another long day and she couldn’t wait to get home and tell Andy all about it. She opened the door of the home and was welcomed by a warm hug ‘hey there’ she said smiling ‘missed you too’. Andy looked at the couch where they had been sitting, ‘should we just order some takeout?’ Frankie suggested and Andy hugged her again ‘you know me too well’. They ordered food, talked about their days and ended the evening with a movie. It was another regular day in her life, but also another day to remember.
