Cosmetic Gift September 2022

I woke up to my alarm clock. Begrudgingly I sit up because I know if I don’t get to enjoy my quiet sitting in bed and watching videos time. I open my Xpad and scroll through my recommended. My favorite kind of videos are instructional (do it yourself, how thing work, craftwork) and stories (drama, horror which is the only horror I like, and fantasy). I find a nice video about hiking in the Jurupa Forest. I watch it until my alarm to get ready for my day goes off. I do my usual hygiene stuff and make and eat breakfast. Then I look at my website. I have a freelance job to make a prototype. I download the CAD file and get to work. It has three sections a 3D printed main component, metal and plastic attachments. I first check over the file and correct any design and math mistakes. Once everything looks correct to me I turn on the 3D printer and once it primed and ready I watch the printer print out the 3D model. The first print wasn’t successful and adjust the CAD file til the model come out to what exactly the customer wanted. The I started hand making the metal pieces though different techniques of casting, foraging and grinding. Of course the metal fittings doesn’t fit correctly the first time. So I continue to adjust until they do. Then i move on to the plastic fittings that i also 3D print. Same thing as before I try to attach the plastic fittings don’t fit I adjust the CAD file and reprint until they do. I then run a series of tests on the prototype to make sure it is up to the customer request. I finally finish and pack the prototype into a box and put it on the front door so i don’t lose or forget to mail it the next day. It is now the afternoon so I make myself a snack and then take a nap. When I wake up I not sure of what to do. I can play video games, practice Parkour, swim. I end up staying in bed with ADD paralysis for 30 minutes before finally choosing to go over my research a bit before video games. I make a little progress in my research then turn on my game system and destroy my enemies. After my eyes hurts from staying up I take myself to sleep. The next day I wake up excited as I’m meeting friends to go try surfing today so after I watch some videos. I do my morning routine and pack up and head to Torini. I hug all my from friends as a greeting then go and layout my beach towel and things next to theirs. We go to the surf shop to rent boards and I see one of the most beautiful Xero I have ever seen. I get really nervous and shy and let my friends do most of the talking. I don’t try anything because 1 she is at work and 2 i don’t want to taint the trip by rejection. After we got our boards we walk to the water. I tell myself I’ll get a girlfriend one day. Then remove all those thoughts from my head as I spend the rest of the day surfing and picnicking with my friends.
