Ziggy, the epitome of the modern Xero, the culmination of the greatest Alurizan minds put together to revive a long extinct species. He still struggles to figure out his costume, the same as just a young one would. Standing in front of his temporary closet, he flips through the different pieces of clothing, slowly feeling each material before the last. “Tradition is good, yes, however perhaps we should show them that we can adapt…” He mutters to himself, mind wandering to the time just recently he met The Curator.

He chooses long deep brown robes, dye near the edges turning the sleeves a warm cranberry. The sleeves themselves fan out, his glowing lime extremities give a mysterious aura about him. The weave a natural, sustainable material dyed with various fruits and berries. He covers half of his face in the traditional ambassador’s face paint, a bioluminescent paint created with the shed husks of the local insects. Only a small amount of husk was required, which made the Xero that much more comfortable with using it. The other half of his face gets covered in a mask of fabric and clay, one that used a set of lights, sensing his breathing to initiate the fading glow effect.

He has a set of gloves, boots and metal plates to cover his tail, the flicking of his tail as he walked sounded not unlike a harmonious windchime. He felt it was the perfect outfit to combine old and new cultures of his species. Ziggy’s clock chimed six and he knew it was time to leave for the festival. Overly excited to welcome the newcomers to the festival, he bounds out the door on all fours. His excited grin splitting his muzzle as he takes his position under the welcoming arch.
