[Survey] Vexa and Tangy

It was late and the club was nearly empty. The festival outside of town drew the crowds this time of year and Vexa was often left simply cleaning glasses and the counter over and over to cure her border. The short desert Xero wandered back and forth for a while, cleaning this and that, organizing the bottles of drink mixes and spirits before a familiar voice rang out behind her. 

 

Instantly her biolum beamed bright blue as she flipped around and saw the most wonderful of orange sights she ever did see. Tangy, her other half stood there on the open side of the bar with arms wide open. It was but a second before she had jumped into his open embrace and smiled, hugging him tightly. 

 

"Tangy! I thought you were at the festival all night?!" She exclaimed, delighted at the sight of her partner in her club. 

 

"Yeah, but my booth was slow today and I wanted to take a break so closed up for a short while to come to visit you for a quick hug and drink" He ruffled her fluffy hair and smiled back at her.

 

Tangy took a seat at the bar and Vexa mixed up his favorite drink and handed it to him. Soon however he was caught up in a conversation with another. Vexa shook her head and smiled. He was bubbly as ever and was always open to conversations with ANYONE, part of what she loved about him. However, she took this time to write a little special note for him on one of the napkins to slip into his bag before he left back to his booth.

 

"My sweet Tangy boy,

 

I can't believe you put up with me honestly...You know just how crazy I can be. Im so thankful you match my energy but also level me out when needed. You are my rock and my beautiful sunshine. I just...I love how you make me feel butterflies in my stomach every time I see you and how your hugs calm even my most crazy of nerves. Thank you for everything you do!

And she finished it off by folding it up nicely and slipping it into his bag when he had his attention turned away. He would find it soon enough. Once he was done with his conversation he finished up his drink and profusely apologized to Vexa for getting lost in talk with another and not being able to spend time with her as he wanted. She smiled brightly and just hugged him. 

 

"You are a social butterfly like me, it's in our blood, don't you worry love" Vexa helped Tangy to the end of the counter before giving him one last kiss goodbye and watching him leave. She was one lucky Xero.
