[Survey] Inquiry

Dear Urho

I know It’s summer season and you are probably knee deep in helping every tourist and passerby at the docks, but I wanted to take a few minutes of your time to tell you about my travel.

I’m currently in a warzone. I’m also at least fifteen times bigger than the little critters going at it, so do not worry for my safety. I came here to search for a pair of earrings. How big are the earrings then? You are probably wondering. And that’s the awkward part, the jewelries are the center pieces of a prestigious monument. It’s depicting some sort of an animal, and the earrings make out the eyes. I'll show you a picture of it when I return. But the true awkwardness comes from who the statue belongs to. I won’t go into the politics of it too deep, but taking the jewels would probably escalate the war, so I have to first figure out some third party to pin the crime on before I can steal them. It’s getting a tad complicated since every time I think I have just the person or faction to double-cross, they seem to get bribed by a very ugly bird. But fear not, I’ll see the job done before the nights get too long there so we can still enjoy the summer breeze together.

I saw a stone the other day whit spots like yours. If I could have landed close enough to the stone to carry it, I would have taken it along, that’s how much I miss you. I miss your laugh, your jokes, your frown and your snoring. I lie awake at nights hoping I’d wake up by your side, and one moment like that sparked an idea I wanted to bring up to you before I come, so you have time to think of your answer.

You see, I’ve been working for five years consecutively now, only seeing you between jobs, but I was thinking, what if I say no to the next offer? What if I were not to answer a call and just stayed by your side for the winter. I know the winter in Torin does not feel like winter, but still. Would you let me stay? Would you mind finding my hairs in every piece of clothing you own and keeping me company when the sun gets too hot for me? Perhaps you could teach me to swim and we could cool off in the ocean. Would you like that or is there someone else you’d rather spend the winter with?

Please think seriously of your answer as your answer will effect how often I come visit you in the future, but not how often you visit my thoughts. You are always in my mind.
