Akira had just skittered back into her little cave outpost. She had been busy djing all day and just managed to get some paper to make an envelope. She pulled out some markers and pens from her drawer and began to decorate the letter with various musical emblems and even a little sketch of herself from her set in Harbor earlier in the year, as she felt that was the highlight of her year.

Afterwards, she folded up the paper into an envelope and started writing something down.

“Hey, it's been a bit hasn’t it? Since you’re reading this, I know you might feel a little stuck right now, and need some advice from a friend, even if we don’t have that quite yet.  I know things have been way different and we’ve changed a lot on the way. Ever since we were able to get that dj set we’ve really been able to get out there more haven’t we? We were even able to get our ears pierced and now we look even closer to our perfect self! I know its been a hard time for you, since you really want to start having a closer connection with other Xeros, but I believe in you! We were able to make it this far right? Remember not to be so hard on yourself, you have worked hard and long to make something from your situation in order to get where you are now. I’m rooting for you ok?

Akira put the cap on her favorite glitter pen and put all of her supplies back in her drawer, and she pulled out a tack from a board and put the envelope on the wall. While putting up the new letter, she had taken down the old letter she had written the year before, and opened it up, to remind herself of the love she felt for herself.
