[XOTM] Stinky!

It was a usual day, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and a shape was briefly seen rushing off into the caverns, passing through the forest and scaring off bugs and animals in the wake of their path. Nothing more than a blur of black and green could be seen moving through the maze that was the cavern, only accompanied by the sound of something hitting the ground and the light twinkling of something shiny held in their arms and glittering when the sun or some source of light hit them at just the right angle. 

The blur stopped once they reached a hole hidden in the walls deep within the cave, carefully maneuvering through the place to avoid triggering the few traps placed around and finally dropping their shiny loot into a small table to their right. The shape let out a sigh and stretched out fully with a satisfied hum, revealing the pointed bat-like ears characteristic of the Hollow subtypes, followed by a pair of bright green eyes set within a dark long face ending in a green colored snout with a pair of fangs peeking through.

It was Stinky, the so-called ‘beast’ who often terrorized Alurizans trying to steal his precious jewels or hoping to take even just one look of him. Stinky looked around in the dark, seeing his treasure piled up on the ground and at last locating what he was looking for, a torch was thrown on the ground near a couple of shiny jewels. He walked over and made sure it was safe before setting it on fire, placing the flaming light in its place on a holder on the wall. 

Stinky turned back around, wanting to appreciate the shine of his hoard glittering all around the cave walls and only letting out a confused noise when he noticed the loot of jewels he had just brought back to his little hole in the wall hideout was smaller than when he had first placed it on the table. The Xero walked closer, wanting to get a better look before hearing the clinking and clattering of a pile of coins and jewels being displaced, the huge mound of treasure to his left following soon enough and falling down with a crash before he heard the sound of feet hitting the ground followed by the torch lights flickering with an unseen wind as a shape was seen skulking around in the shadows. 

Stinky quickly turned around, almost tripping on his feet while wanting to take a look at just who exactly had gotten into his lair, and only managing to see a brief dark colored blur with a couple of muted wine colored eyes pushing away from the entrance to his hideout. The black and green Xero let out a bark of a laugh and prepared to give chase, enjoying the thrill that hunting down someone and scaring them away would give him. He decided to give his prey a couple seconds head start to make it more challenging on himself and then vaulted away, knowing the caverns like the back of his paw and knowing exactly where to go to intercept and give them the scare of their life.
