[Survey] Survey: 018 | Considering Fashion

Ziggy is a bit confused about fashion as a concept- he wouldn't be able to tell you what looked good and what didn't, but that doesn't mean that they aren't accepting of it! In fact, they're very willing to do research on different forms of self expression when it comes to superficial aspects and clothing. Ziggy themself doesn't really wear a lot of clothing or accessories, and if they do it's mostly for special events or for a particular kind of weather that they're not naturally inclined to. There always has to be a way for xero that are different from each other to communicate most comfortably, and sometimes that involves the help of clothing! Otherwise a tundra xero and a savannah xero might have a bit of issues related to temperature regulation.

Outside of that, Ziggy can also be convinced to try on some clothing just to see what it's like! They'll try anything once, including getting a make-over from another Xero every now and again, either for himself or to entertain a friendly face who needs a little bit of help. He's tried on a lot of different clothes this way, and he hasn't exactly found one he's disliked yet. Sure, some of the outfits had some questionable colors, but that was something he could ignore.

What Ziggy will have more often than not is a backpack. Technically it counts as an accessory, but Ziggy considers it more of a tool than anything else. Especially since the backpack itself isn't very pretty, function over form and all of that. Ziggy finds the brown sack of a backpack appealing, even if it does have way too many pockets than logically necessary. Other Xero however.... well, there's been a few times where Ziggy has been offered replacement backpacks only to politely decline them in favor of his old reliable.

If he had to choose an outfit himself, it'd most likely be something with comfort as the top priority. That is, unless it was specifically adventuring gear- then he'd make sure that it was as safe as possible before thinking about comfort. If it was just casual wear though, there's nothing he'd enjoy more than wearing a big green sweater that covers almost his entire body, along with some dark fluffy pants and large pair of fuzzy flippers- perfect for someone to sit down and read a nice book.

At the end of the day, Ziggy finds fashion to be something interesting to look at from a distance, and something that can be very helpful when it comes to certain practical functions. However, Ziggy much prefers to just be himself to the biggest extent whenever possible. He wouldn't want to cover himself up too much with layers and layers of clothing, or else he wouldn't be able to see his own fur, and he likes looking at his fur!

Even so... he still wouldn't mind it if someone did get him a big green sweater. Especially if it glowed in the dark.
