Abandoned Arc facility

‘Hey there viewers and welcome back to another paranormal investigation!’ Set was standing in what looked like the middle of nowhere and had the camera pointed at himself ‘a few abandoned explorers recently told me about this place and after hearing what they found I had to come here with my equipment and see if there was more going on here then just an abandoned spot’. 

He walked a bit through the denser forested area and pointed the camera in front of him when in the distance a few glimpses of a building could be seen. ‘So I did some research about this place, and it seems that this is an old facility from ARC that was built when it was just starting up. After the organization grew the building got too small so they moved. A few of the scientists kept this place running as a bit of a side facility but after a while I guess those also left and the building just got left and the space is slowly being taken back by nature’. He showed the front of the building, most of the walls were still intact although covered in vines and other flora and here and there a few bricks were missing. With the door in front closed off and blocked, Set started looking around for another way in. ‘A blocked door ain't stopping me, let's find out how the others got inside’.

After a bit of rustling in between bushes and leaves he found a broken window with a wooden board placed in front of it. The gap was just big enough from him to squeeze through and he was inside of a room that looked like a small office. A broken holo screen, a desk chair with a hole and missing a few wheels in a corner and several file cabinets some drawers opened with papers hanging out others closed or even without a drawer at all. ‘hm wonder where those drawers went’ he laughed and pointed the camera around the room showing the viewers that the missing drawers were nowhere to be seen. ‘Oh wow it looks like they even did some of the Project Xero research over here’ he pointed the camera at a document with the familiar logo on it but printed in black and white and slightly faded. ‘Who knows what we'll find here, paranormal or not, this is definitely an interesting spot to visit’. 

He walked around the building for a bit longer showing off all the different rooms, most of them were offices, or storage. At one point he found a room with a table in the center and a kitchen, probably a canteen maybe one that doubled as a meeting room when this place was still functioning. ‘Still nothing on my gear though’ he looked at an EMF in his paw but it was doing nothing. 

Just when he thought he had seen the entire building he found one more door, it was slightly stuck but after a good push it opened and he heard something roll, probably because the door moved against it. "Guys, look it's the laboratory, we finally found it!’ he slowly moved his camera around walking around in the room. Another rolling sound followed by a click he pointed the camera at his feet and he noticed half of a Xero orb with the other half a bit further away from it. He placed his EMF and the camera on a locker next to him and picked up the small pieces to put them back together and stared at it. Remembering his own experiences at ARC as a young Xero growing up learning about their species and how they were recreated. I wonder what part of Project Xero they worked on here. 

Through the lens of the camera Set could be seen looking at the small orb and around the room to see if he could find out what they did there. But in a small corner there was just a little bit of the EMF and with Set not looking, the lights slowly turned on, something he would only notice later when he had returned home and was editing the video. ‘hmm really interesting, I definitely have to figure out what happened there now’.
