[Survey] Quite the night!

As Valentino thanked the kind merchant for the discount, his eyes moved to look at the exit of the shopping district. His eyes were drawn to the mushrooms growing in the area a small distance away. He rushed over, and looked in front of him. “Bearded caps? In this season? What a lovely surprise!” he gasped, securing his crossbody bag full of produce, before grabbing his small pocket knife from his pouch. He then started cutting off a handful of the mushrooms. “These should be great once I've pickled them!” He remarked, noticing the lack of damage on the fungi. He swiftly placed the mushrooms in a small cloth bag, and went on his way back home, occasionally stopping to admire the flora and fauna surrounding his secluded house. Once home, he quickly unlocked the door using his paw print ID, and spread everything out on his kitchen table. “I think I got a pretty good haul for the week…” He said, counting up everything. “With these nice bearded caps, I can pickle some, and make jam with them!” He said, rushing to rinse them off. Once the fungi had been washed, he stored them back in the original pouch he had put them in. After that, he got ready to prepare the other various produce he had purchased. He started by roasting the affacato’s ‘fruit’ he had bought, slowly, ensuring he got an even roast. After about an hour of roasting, he laid them out in the sun, to ensure they were ready. While he waited, he started on removing and drying the lioa berries seeds tassel like compartments, saving them for later, before cutting up the fruits soft flesh, to be cooked for dinner later that night. After finishing up the rest of the produce preparation, he decided to take a relaxing nap… that was, until Banana slowly crawled into the kitchen, with an oddly purple mouth. Valentino gasped, and sprung up, running over to collect Banana before they got into more trouble. “Where did you find such a staining fruit!” he said, moving in the direction that his pet had come from. “Aha!” He said, noticing a small nio berry, punctured, and spilt on the floor of his dye collection. “Silly Banana, you know better than that!” he said, laughing, as the boolew only chirped in response. As he went to put Banana back in their tank, he wondered how they managed to open up the nio berry so easily… “A thought for later. I need to clean this up before it stains my nice bamboo floor!” he exclaimed, rushing to get a washcloth and water. By the time he had wiped off the juices, his floor had already been stained. “Well, at least I know my clothes won’t be fading anytime soon.” After he put his cleaning supplies away, he ensured all his produce that could stain, especially his sugar drops, high out of reach from his deceptively agile companion. After finishing up putting away the produce, he was finally ready to take that well deserved nap before dinner.
