1. Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis)
The giraffe is the tallest mammal in the world, with even the baby giraffe being taller than most humans. Even more interesting, giraffe only drink once every few days, even when water is available. There is evidence that many giraffe do not drink regularly, if at all.

2. Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus)
Cheetahs are the fastest land animals in the world. During a chase, they use their tails as a rudder that helps them steer themselves as they run. Due to the energy required to run at such speeds, cheetahs can only maintain a chase for one 1 minute.

3. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)
The leaves and roots of the dandelion were medicinally used as a tonic for removing toxins from bloodstream, as they serve as a mild diuretic to improve the digestive system functioning. Native to Mediterranean, dandelion plants were known quite well by ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Greeks!

4. Siberian Tiger (Panthera tigris altaica)
Tigers are patient hunters and can move slowly and quietly, stalking their prey for 20 or 30 minutes. Usually making a kill once or twice a week and eating as much as it can. As well, a tiger’s night vision is six times stronger than a human’s.

5. Gibbon (Hylobatidae)
Gibbons are not monkeys, and are in fact part of the ape family! They are classified as lesser apes because they are smaller than the great apes.
