Terrapoda
The Terrapoda is a creature that, in the past, mimicked tree branches on its head to blend in with the jungle. However, with trees declining in their habitat, they evolved to move downward towards the forest floor. Using their centipede-like tail, they dig themselves into the earth instead of their old ways of digging into bark and camouflage with the ground.
Though nice to see these creatures evolving with their circumstances, it has been difficult to traverse the jungle knowing that stepping on the earthy cap of a Terrapoda may lead to a nasty bite.
