Details
A passport is provided to every Alurizan citizen and becomes an essential part of life in the AREZ. As the concept of borders is archaic by the standards of a multi-cultural space-faring republic, there needed to be a way to ensure safety of travel for its members; this comes in the form of the AREZ Passport.
The ability to travel vast distances to other planets presents many challenges to a healthy society, and so each passport contains the owner's medical data. In case of emergency or communicable disease, this information becomes a vital database accessible wherever the traveler goes.
In addition, the passports are highly customizable, allowing the owner to keep their travel information, such as any event tokens and tickets handy. It also makes it easy to send your contact information to any travelers you might encounter that you want to keep in touch with. It's your all-in-one travel companion!
INFORMATION
Register your Xero by filling out a Passport for them! A Passport is a required key item to participate in certain future activities with your Xero.
This prompt focuses on helping you develop your Xero a bit more. What is their name? What pronouns do they use? Will you use the date they were uploaded to the Masterlist as their birthday, or pick something custom? And finally, where do they live?

Instructions
The template for the Passport can be found HERE. There is a layered PSD and a flattened image available for your use! If you'd like to match the font, this is the font used, but feel free to use any font.
Please only add the Marine Expedition stamp to your passport if you participated in this event!
Fill out your character's information on the passport and add a "photo" of them.
1. The ID # should be your Xero's Masterlist number. (Ex: Ziggy is X-025)
2. Add your Xero's name. You can name them whatever you want!
3. Add your Xero's pronouns.
4. Add your Xero's birthdate. You can use the date they were uploaded to the Masterlist, or make up a date that suits them!
5. Finally, pick an area of residence for them. Check out our Locations page for a few canon ideas of where your Xero could live, or feel free to make up your own location off-planet! They can live anywhere!
Art REQUIREMENTS
The artwork submitted to this prompt must show good effort and adhere to the following guidelines:
★ The Xero in your artwork must belong to you!
★ The artwork must be a bust that fits within the box. No floating heads!
★ You may use the symmetry tool if desired.
★ The artwork must be full-color and should have at least relatively clean lines. Shading is optional.
★ Sketchy styles are accepted, so long as the art shows good effort and does not appear rushed.
★ If you do not draw, you may fill in the Passport with your Xero's Masterlist image, but you will receive only 15 Prestige instead of 50.

Details
As you know, the project has evolved significantly from our initial scope. As such, one of our goals is to ensure that everyone is fitting in well and adapting to life in the Aluriza Reserve. We also are collecting any feedback you may have regarding your experiences! Such information is extremely helpful, as it allows us to view our culture from an outside perspective and see where we can adapt and grow. Your feedback also helps us with the process of introducing newly-created Xeros to their new life, so that they’ll settle in smoothly. Our goal is to ensure that each and every Xero can find a place to thrive in AREZ. It’s important to make sure your needs as a species are met—especially as your numbers grow!
However, I don’t want this process to become an inconvenience—I've seen how busy some of you can be!—so we'll keep the surveys to a monthly release. OH—and yes, for each successful response, we’ll give you access to the Lab ADC, where we keep various supplies involved in our experiments. Some of the stuff in there might be pretty hard to find elsewhere!

For ARC Survey 026 we ask a simple questions: How do Xeros get around? Do a majority of Xeros own their own ship or car? Do they take public transport or do they simply walk (or glide!) across their wonderful world?
When drawing or writing about this particular prompt, no need to draw complex vehicles if you aren't up for it! Something like the keys to a ship or a bus pass in your Xeros paw could be enough to signify how they get around!

Lets help keep the planet clean! Throughout the week, carefully separate out your garbage and recycling into seperate bags.
Document your recycling vs. your garbage, and write about choices you’ve made in your life to reduce your single-use plastic waste or what steps you are taking in your community’s green initiative. Examples include choosing to fill a reusable bottle from the tap instead of bottled water, bringing a reusable produce bag to the store, and purchasing items packaged with less plastic. We know not all of these options are available to everyone, so you may also write about what you are trying to do for the future.
We require at least a standard grocery-sized bag worth of recycling, feel free to re-use any bags you get from shopping or invest in a reusable bag you can wash out after each use!

INFORMATION
Go on a "real life" research expedition! Go to a local park, accredited zoo, or even just your backyard and look for interesting plants and animals.
STAY SAFE WHILE OUT AND ABOUT! Wear a mask if you will be in proximity to other people, and please only go to a zoo or aquarium if you feel safe doing so in your area. Take photos of interesting things you see. Obviously this is easy to do at a zoo, but if you're at a park you might have to get a bit more adventurous! See a cool mushroom on a log? A squirrel or duck? Snap a picture! Identify each plant or animal you photograph, and write 1 fact about it! Must be at least 5 different specimens. Remember to wash your hands after your excursion!
BONUS: While you can do this prompt just with photos and writing, if you decide to also sketch the plants and animals, you will earn 300 bonus Prestige, for a total of 800!

While I can't stop anyone from visiting a non-accredited establishment, I strongly urge you to research and understand why putting your money towards and supporting accredited zoos is important to animal welfare, public education, and conservation!

INFORMATION
Participate in a "real life" research expedition! Write about a local invasive or endemic species (plants or animals, including insects!) and talk about their importance or danger to the biodiversity of the place you live. If writing about an invasive species, talk about what you can do to help. If writing about an endemic species, talk about what measures are being taken to protect them. You can add links to charities and accredited wildlife rehabilitation centers if you feel so inclined.
If you cannot take a photo of the species you’re writing about, use an image from a library book, or website. Make sure to source your work!

Every July, a group of artists and creatives get together for an all-out Art Brawl! Art Fight is a website that pits two themed themes against each other for artists from all mediums and skill sets to "attack" each other for points for their respective teams!
For 2024, the teams are Stardust Vs. Seafoam! Whatever side you are on, this prompt asks you to point your art attacks at your fellow Xeros! If you attack a Xero during the month of July for Art Fight this prompt is for you to submit them for currency rewards!
We do not discriminate! If you wish to pelt some "friendly fire" towards your own team in order to draw a Xero you enjoy, you are still free to submit them for the same rewards.

The party aims to commemorate all the hard work of the Xero project so far. Ziggy thinks it can be quintessentially wrapped up into his favorite fruit! (…or maybe he’s biased). He has requested everyone’s help in delivering on a super-sweet cupcake promise!

Ziggy was kind enough to give you a grocery list on what you'll need, but he doesn't have any spare Recipes. The MAKR Machine will not reassemble raw materials without instruction. He says not to worry because he believes you can find a way to earn some.
