[Survey] Limmetos in Torini
The rare Limmeto fruit only blooms during the longest days of summer on AREZ. It is found chiefly along the beaches of Torini, where it takes to the skies, glowing with beautiful greenish light. It has a smooth, jelly-like surface containing a gel that tastes like lime, mint, and tarragon. If you venture out on the right summer night with a glass or metal straw, you can gently grab Limmeto fruits as they float past and enjoy the delicious gel inside. There are signs added to the Torini beaches during the summer to explain to the tourists how to properly consume and discard the soft shells of the Limmeto fruit by placing them near the shoreline. The outer surfaces contain a compound that contributes significantly to the pristine shine of the sandy beaches. The seeds located at the base of the Limmeto will roll into the ocean waves, awaiting a chance to wash ashore at a new location.
