[Survey] Homework answers

"If you could remove or add any m-m…" The glitched marine child starts, reading from his homework, a questionnaire he needed to ask one of his parents so he could write a report.

"Mutation?" Andy responds, wiping her paws on the towel near the stove.  

"Mutation! To yourself, what would it be?" The young xero sat with his paws swinging off the stool, he holds his pencil, awaiting their response.

"Hm, that's a hard one." The constellation themed Xero taps her cheek in consideration, "I've got a few ideas, though. Maybe a different tail? Extra arms? Webbed fins so I can keep up with you?" She dips a finger in the brownie batter and pokes him in the nose with it, making him laugh.

"Well you gotta pick one Mom. I should've had Mom do this instead." Levi responds, licking his snout.  

"Really? Fine." She acts dramatic before pouring in the batter to the pan and sliding it into the oven. The small Xero leans on the counter then, smiling at him, saber teeth gleaming in the sunset warming the kitchen window. "Well maybe I'd go with my tail then. Instead of a bobtail maybe I should have a curled tail or a long, prehensile tail so I can hold your mom's tail while we walk."

"EWWW!" The little boy cries out, distressed over the thought of seeing his moms be affectionate.

She laughs at that, "Jeez, don't you want to see less hand holding and kisses?" She walks to the back door to let out their pet, a strange finned rabbit creature. "Hm, maybe extra hands would be good too. That way I could hold you on my back on our trips to the wildlife sanctuary and still be able to take pictures!" 

"You could just let me hold the VidCam Mom."

"Yeah, I could, but extra hands would be so much easier. I wonder what your Mom would choose. Probably jungle camouflage so she could grow medical herbs on her." She states absently, thinking to herself, "I love you Frankie but you really need to stop being all about work all the time." As if on cue, Frankie's empty water bottle thunks down into the vacuum tube, where Andy grabs it, filling it with ice cubes and water before shooting it back down the tube to the clinic next door. "Anyway, Levi. If I had to choose one, I would choose the tail. I don't like how short and stubby my tail is. I wouldn't care if it was a marine tail or something like Mom's, or something fluffy or even if it was something that could grab stuff." She nods to the little xero who was scribbling down his words. "Honestly though there's not a whole lot to say about it." She smiles, "I would have more balance, and I could use it to make you and Mom feel safe and comforted. Does that answer the question?" 

"Yeah, thanks Mom!" Levi grins, finishing the last of his scrawled writing before hopping off his stool. "I gotta go let Wormly and Wörmer out of the pouch now. I'll be back by dinner!" He shouts running out the door.

"Wait what-, I? Leviathan!" 

"Bye Mom!" By the time the words are shouted, they're barely audible and a splash immediately followed.

"What are we going to do with that kid, I swear."
