The Living Tidepool is an ancient mega-crustecean that spends its time collecting plants and animals to live on its back. As it ages over a nearly 200 year process, pools and cracks form in its body, amking suitible homes for all sorts of plants an animals. It spends its time eating micro organisims in the sea and assising other creatures. It is very docile and friendly, and enjoys being ridden and brushed.
