[Survey] Old Mysteries, New Adventures

The year was almost over and Fenrir was cleaning up his house, seeing what treasures to keep, what to throw away and what he might donate to the museum. He was working on some boxes filled with small trinkets with Levi. 'When did you get this one?' he had been asking that with basically each new item he pulled out the box in front of him. Levi was holding a golden necklace with green emeralds in it. 'Oo that's a good story, I almost lost my tail in this one' and the big Xero grabbed his tail to show a small bald spot hidden by the hairs. Levi stared at him interested while Fenrir was climbing around the kitchen telling the story, how he climbed the steep temple walls, swung on old robes and almost fell in a pit when one broke and then how a big axe swung in the path and how it nibbed his tail when he tried to get past. He was just jumping from the counter to one of the kitchen chairs when they heard a loud bang could be heard in the room next to him 'Avi are you okay?!' no response, he ran towards the other room and saw her staring at a map with a fallen over bookcase on the floor. 'This was stuck behind the top of the bookcase' she looked around the room, 'sorry for the mess'. Fenrir lifted his shoulders 'don't worry about it' and he started lifting the bookcase back up. 'Woah what's that!' Levi had ran in and noticed the big map Avi was holding. 'I think it's a treasure map but it looks very old'...

'A hand please' Fenrir said groaning he was holding the book case at about a 45 degree angle and a book was balancing on his foot. They both put down the map and quickly helped him lift the bookcase and started placing all books back in alphabetical order. 

They went back to the kitchen to get something to drink and Avi had placed the map on the table, 'so Fenrir, what is this'. He placed tree glasses with Ru Berry juice on the table and sat down next to her. I found this one a long time ago when I just started adventuring, just took it but never been able to decipher it. I guess after a while I just put it on top of the bookcase and then it got lost and forgotten over the years. 'You should try to decipher it and find out where it leads to!' Levi yelled and handed Fenrir a notebook and some paper. 'Right now?!' he looked at his guests, 'why not 3 minds are better than one' Avi smiled. At first glance the map looked pretty normal but when looking closer you could see riddles, puzzles and other weird symbols all over. They quickly started working using their combined knowledge and the big collection of books Fenrir had collected. 

'So that's it?' Levi pointed at a cross Avi had drawn on the map. 'If we are correct, then that little cross is the place to find the answers' Fenrir had a big smile on his face 'I think I know what I'll be doing next year, time to finally solve this mystery!'.
