[Survey] ARC Survey: 009

I went to the first baking class today and I ended up seeing them again! My crush! I wasn't sure if I would see them again but here we are again!

I first met them a few weeks ago, when I was buying a new sketchbook and some other art supplies. I was struggling to grab one of the canvases on the top shelf and they ended up lending me a helping paw. We ended up chatting on the way to the cash register and we have a lot in common! We both enjoy hiking and crafting, though I'm more into traditional drawing mediums and they enjoy cross-stitching. We are both even trying to learn baking!

I ended up being paired up with them for the tart making class. Everything was going so smoothly, the crust came out perfect and all of the fruit were cut nicely. We were in sync with each other. Truly amazing! We had just finished making the custard when I started to trip and dropped it. In my attempt to catch it I smacked my arm into it and managed to fling it absolutely everywhere. The counter, the floor, the wall, all of both of us. An absolute mess! I just about died of embarrassment. They helped me clean it up and even tried to cheer me up with some jokes. We were able to make a new batch and everything turned out really good in the end. I thought I had messed up but they said that they wanted to team up with me for next week!

I've been trying to write them a thank you letter that I can give them next class but I'm so embarrassed! Nothing I write seems to quite work the way I want it to. They have been so kind and I can tell how bashful they are. They've talked about how they are trying to get out more and I'd love to invite them over and hang out with them. Maybe give them my contact information? Maybe adding a drawing would help? Or just talk to them? I'm such a mess, haha.

For now I'll just have to see how next week goes!
