Research expedition: Russian nap weed

The russian nap weed is an invasive speces and the topic of my research today. It real name is Rhaponticum repens 

It flowers in the summer. the blooms are pretty just see picture I added.

It's toxic to horses. 

The only way to get rid of it is herbicides
