Abyssal Alona in the Depths
Decided to take the opportunity of this DTIYS type event to showcase a style and medium i don't often get to, which is 3d modelling! This little Alona is 3d modelled and painted in blender, with a 2d painted background and edits done in csp, with a turnaround animation to truly study the critter from all angles! There appear to be a few more Alona lurking in the back there, maybe they're all on the search for food together...
(While this is animated with a turnaround to best show off the model, while making this i was thinking of it as something akin to a simple diorama or model of a creature you might find in a museum; usually posed as if it were moving and alive, with a painted background to cement it in it's enviroment, so i like to think of it like that! A display for xero's to better study the Alona!)
