[Gift] Beanie

It was a bright day and a colorful xero was seen walking cheerfully around the beautiful streets of Torini. Verbena, more commonly known as Beanie by friends, was currently looking for some of the new produce seeds she had heard about to add to her personal garden. The female glanced around leisurely, curiously approaching a few of the stands to ask about that ‘Sugar Drop’ fungus. 

She had first heard about it from some of her friends and customers, having heard them gushing about how that fungus was previously used for dyeing cloth until someone bit into it and their teeth ended up tinted in the color of the fungus. Beanie ended up sticking around for a while, curiously wanting to know more, and ended up getting a new idea for a brand new drink, maybe also a pastry, while overhearing others bemoan the fact that the dye was permanent on the teeth.

While the sugar drop fungus produce may be known to have a bit of a bitter taste, Beanie was wondering if perhaps she could experiment with it in a way to make that strong flavor less prominent by adding a combination of sweeter produce while also keeping the characteristic colorful pigment dye, if only temporarily so that it only lasts a couple hours, wanting to offer her customers a new and exciting drink they can enjoy while still having fun with the teeth dye. 

Coming out of her thoughts, Beanie was just about to give up for the day before spotting a bright greenish blue color out of the corner of her eye. With an excited grin on her face, the xero whirled around and rushed towards the stall, giving the startled owner a beaming smile once she finally got her paws on a couple of sugar drops to test out. Having completed her goal, Verbena started walking back towards Taste of Jurupa with a noticeable spring on her steps.
