Rescue

Twilight is hanging out at her favorite Boolew friendly restaurant. In the beautiful patio sat Twilight and her trusted companion Paintbrush chew on their food, a flyer catches Twilight’s eye. The ARC is looking to save Koronoks! With her love of animals, solving problems, and discovering new things. Twilight quickly finishes her food and motion Paintbrush to climb on her shoulder. They start their run to the closet ARC building. Once there she is stopped with a long line. Amazed the number of other Xeros answering their call to adventure. After having a blast talking to others in the long line, she looked at the list of classes being held before signing up for the next Trapping and Safety Class and a Koronoks Healing Class being held next week. She rushes home to prepare.

Having returned with her trusted companion Paintbrush. She walks in the room of the Trapping and Safety Class in awe of the traps that lay before her at the front of the room. She takes her seat and take in the environment as the room danced with excitement. The teacher enters the room a older but stern fellow, walks to the front. “Listen up now. If you don’t pay attention Koronoks can get hurt” . A hush falls over the room as every Xero give their undivided attention. Over the next week for 5 hours a day. Twilight learned how to suvery the area for signs of Koronoks, how to properly set a trap, how to create bait and how to keep them comfortable during the travel back to the lab. Once that class was over Twilight would attend the Healing Koronoks class. It was thought by a sweet shy Xero, with the most calming and comfortable aura you would ever meet. And over the next week for three hours a day, Twilight would learn how to determine the mildly sick Koronoks which would be healed in the field and the very severe sick Koronoks/ the ones sick by a unknown illness which would be transported to be healed in the lab. She  also learned how to craft different medicines for the field healing. It was hard work and Twilight had to do at lot of studying outside the classroom but she knew once she was in Jurupa Forest it would be all worth it. Twilight passed with flying colors and was finally cleared to start the expedition. After a long bus ride from the big city Twilight finally made it to Jurupa Forest. She looked at everything wide eyed as it was her first trip. She let Paintbrush down at the edge of the city and Paintbrush took off in the rural brush. As Twilight ran behind. It smells so different from home Twilight thought to herself, when Painbrush stopped. Twilight looked over and it was a Koronok’s footprint. Twilight started making her bait and set up her trap just like in class then hide. After giving Paintbrush a treat Twilight hid far away with shallow breaths waiting to hear the trap go off.
