Kelp's Mask

When working on his mask for the Twilight Carnival Kelp he wanted his mask to be something a little bit scary but not too scary, ultimately deciding to make his into the shape of a skull. He does this by carving out some eyeholes, teeth, leaving the stem of the gourd to act as a curved nose because he thought it would make the mask look more cute. One the mask was carved, he went over it with some paints, mainly using white for the color of the skull with some touches of black for the eye holes, nostril and to add some more detail to the teeth of the mask.

It wasn’t a very complicated mask but Kelp enjoyed making it and taking part of the festivities.
