Jackie’s Disguise

The Nuiian Teropita is a species Jackie loves to study, considering its potential endangered status. However, she can't get too close without them flying away or attacking her. Therefore, she made a mask that helps her blend in and keeps her protected from beak pecking. She made it from a blue gourd so it’s similar to their color. Purple is one of her favorite colors, so she added subtle purple designs around the mask. The orange color on the beak is to mimic the nuts teropitas eat, which could make them trust her, but that ended up provoking more attacks. Jackie may need to do some redesigns…
