Roaming in the depths of the sea on planet Tidix-C, the jaugerfish is an interesting mix of the anglerfish and the jellyfish. They come in the colors: red, purple, green, and blue. Females are mostly red and purple and can be up to 3.5 feet in length. Males are mostly green and blue and can be up to 4 feet in length. They make their own light with bioluminescent bacteria floating around them. Jaugerfish are decomposers, so they eat carcasses that float from the top to the bottom of the ocean. They can be carnivorous as well. They keep their mouth open to consume floating carcasses and attack if they feel threatened.

Jaugerfish also use their tentacles to attack and stun the enemy or prey. They are born the same way a jellyfish would: egg, larva, polyp, strobila, ephyra, adult. Jaugerfish reproduce asexually but can still find a mate. Because of this, the only competition they have is for food. Jaugerfish try to stun each other until one gets weary. Their tolerance for stings is expectedly high, especially when there’s not a lot of nutrients in the deep sea. Their weak areas are their hollowed eyes. They can live up to 30-50 years and when they die, they decompose into dead carcasses.
