A passport is provided to every Alurizan citizen and becomes an essential part of life in the AREZ. As the concept of borders is archaic by the standards of a multi-cultural space-faring republic, there needed to be a way to ensure safety of travel for its members; this comes in the form of the AREZ Passport.
The ability to travel vast distances to other planets presents many challenges to a healthy society, and so each passport contains the owner's medical data. In case of emergency or communicable disease, this information becomes a vital database accessible wherever the traveler goes.
In addition, the passports are highly customizable, allowing the owner to keep their travel information, such as any event tokens and tickets handy. It also makes it easy to send your contact information to any travelers you might encounter that you want to keep in touch with. It's your all-in-one travel companion!

INFORMATION
Register your Xero by filling out a Passport for them! A Passport is a required key item to participate in certain future activities with your Xero.

This prompt focuses on helping you develop your Xero a bit more. What is their name? What pronouns do they use? Will you use the date they were uploaded to the Masterlist as their birthday, or pick something custom? And finally, where do they live?

When submitting your entry for this prompt, please upload your piece to our Passport Gallery here! Art & writing uploaded to the Project Xero gallery also earns 1 Prestige.

Instructions
The template for the Passport can be found HERE. There is a layered PSD and a flattened image available for your use! If you'd like to match the font, this is the font used, but feel free to use any font.
Please only add the Marine Expedition stamp to your passport if you participated in this event!

Fill out your character's information on the passport and add a "photo" of them.
1. The ID # should be your Xero's Masterlist number. (Ex: Ziggy is X-025)
2. Add your Xero's name. You can name them whatever you want!
3. Add your Xero's pronouns.
4. Add your Xero's birthdate. You can use the date they were uploaded to the Masterlist, or make up a date that suits them!
5. Finally, pick an area of residence for them. Check out our LORE page for a few canon ideas of where your Xero could live, or feel free to make up your own location off-planet! They can live anywhere!

Greetings! By now I assume many of you have seen the ARC bulletin, so I figured I’d give a bit of an explanation. Part of my job here with the XERO project involves maintaining active data collection about subjects such as…well, you!

As you know, the project has evolved significantly from our initial scope. As such, one of our goals is to ensure that everyone is fitting in well and adapting to life in the Aluriza Reserve. We also are collecting any feedback you may have regarding your experiences! Such information is extremely helpful, as it allows us to view our culture from an outside perspective and see where we can adapt and grow. Your feedback also helps us with the process of introducing newly-created Xeros to their new life, so that they’ll settle in smoothly. Our goal is to ensure that each and every Xero can find a place to thrive in AREZ. It’s important to make sure your needs as a species are met—especially as your numbers grow!

However, I don’t want this process to become an inconvenience—I've seen how busy some of you can be!—so we'll keep the surveys to a monthly release. OH—and yes, for each successful response, we’ll give you access to the Lab ADC, where we keep various supplies involved in our experiments. Some of the stuff in there might be pretty hard to find elsewhere!

Anyways, thanks in advance for your time. I can’t wait to see what you guys have been up to!

Dr. Naes

ARC Survey: 003

ARC Survey: 003
Hello, hello! First of all, thank you for the continuous interest in our surveys! I must say, it has done much to fill in a great deal of the missing portions of our behavioral dataset. While I am on the topic, the responses to last month's prompt certainly were interesting. Our whole department keeps asking: why chocolate?

Anyway, on to this month's survey, which touches on something a bit more mundane but something just as important. Based on the average Xero's physiology its clear that your body is constructed to enable both quadrupedal and bipedal locomotion. In your original habitat, I imagine such flexibility was a requirement of survival. However, what do you prefer typically: walking on two or four legs? is there a specific time and place for one or the other, and why?

INFORMATION
A Xero's anatomy is built in such a way that they can walk comfortably on both two legs and four. Does your Xero have a preference, or do they prefer both equally? Draw or write about how your Xero prefers to move about the world! Do they walk on two legs most of the time, but move about on all four at home? Perhaps they only drop to all four if they need to run quickly? Or maybe they walk on all four, all the time! Any answer is valid, but what does your Xero prefer?

❗️❗️ Since this Survey involves the character's stance, it will require a fullbody drawing if you are completing this survey with artwork! ❗️❗️

Draw your Xero in their overall preferred stance OR their preferred stance for a specific activity (such as for their job, at home, running, etc.) - If you are writing a story, you could write about a situation where they need to use one or the other for a specific task, or what their daily life is like; what advantages do they have from their flexible anatomy, or are there any drawbacks?

When submitting your entry for this prompt, please upload your piece to our Survey Gallery here! Art & writing uploaded to the Project Xero gallery also earns 1 Prestige.

Don't have your own Xero yet? You can draw or write about Ziggy, our mascot! You can read all about him on his profile. You may also ask permission to use another member's Xero in our Discord. However, if you do already own a Xero, you must use your own Xero and may not use Ziggy or another user's Xero.
