We shop at places that either let you use stock boxes to take your groceries home or have your bags paper or use your own bags. This reduces the number of plastic bags we have. If we have left over plastic bags, we use them as trash bin liners so they get one more use out of them for things that need to be thrown away. These bags can also be recycled at a large chain of grocery stores so they wont be left buried in a landfill.
