1. To reduce the amount of water bottles being used my family and I have been trying to use more water filters either through jug filters or through refrigerator filters to get water. We still keep a stockpile due to living in an earthquake prone area and if the water is cut off due to an earthquake, we will need them, but it means that we are trying to use the single use water bottles only when they are needed.
