In our house we have been moving to more sustainable brands that use recycled plastics for their packaging and have their own collection service to reuse the empty containers. These brands also ethically source the ingredients for their products or grow them, themselves.
We also instead of throwing out clothes that don't fit we donate them to local charities. All clothes donated are free of damage and still in really good condition for wearing. This way less clothing waste is produce and those less fortunate get clothes that are clean and not damaged.
