More things we do for recycling is sometimes if my little sisters school is accepting them, is collect box tops. It helps recycle paper AND gets the school a little bit of extra funding.
Something I sometimes do if we have a LOT, is I will take food scraps and instead of going in the garbage, go to my moms house where she has a food scraps recycling bin! Our city is one of the few that accepts food and some paper scraps to go into the compost :D
