Art Fight
INFORMATION
Every July, a group of artists and creatives get together for an all-out Art Brawl! Art Fight is a website that pits two themed themes against each other for artists from all mediums and skill sets to "attack" each other for points for their respective teams!
For 2025, the teams are Fossil Vs. Crystal! Whatever side you are on, this prompt asks you to point your art attacks at your fellow Xeros! If you attack a Xero during the month of July for Art Fight this prompt is for you to submit them for currency rewards!
We do not discriminate! If you wish to pelt some "friendly fire" towards your own team in order to draw a Xero you enjoy, you are still free to submit them for the same rewards.
In our Discord (18+) we have an entire channel dedicated to users submitting their Art Fight profiles and Xeros to attack, please take a look at them if you have the chance!
If you do not have access to our Discord, the "Browse" feature on the site itself is your best friend. Searching "Xero" is sure to gain results!
Art REQUIREMENTS
The artwork submitted to this prompt must show good effort and adhere to the following guidelines:
★ The Xero in your artwork must belong to someone else!
★ The artwork must show at least a half-body. It can be also be a full-body, but rewards will not increase!
★ The artwork must be full-color and should have at least relatively clean lines. Shading is optional.
★ Sketchy styles are accepted, so long as the art shows good effort and does not appear rushed.
★ You may draw multiple Xeros in a submission, but the rewards will not increase.
Writing REQUIREMENTS
The writing submitted to this prompt must show good effort and adhere to the following guidelines:
★ The Xero in your writing must belong to someone else!
★ The writing must be at least 500 words.
★ The writing must show good effort, and adhere to the character's personality & backstory. (Not sure of a character's details? Ask the owner!)
★ You will not be judged on grammar or spelling, but please do your best!
★ You may write about multiple Xeros in a story, but the rewards will not increase.
RESTRICTIONS
★ This prompt may only be submitted two times per year.
★ Entries submitted must be gifts; art or writing created for a commission or trade cannot be used for this prompt.
★ Artwork or writing submitted must be new and created by you. It cannot be traced or created on a preexisting template or base.
★ You cannot submit a gift for the same user or character more than one time per month.
★ Please remember to check if the Xero you want to draw is uploaded to Art Fight!
★ Ziggy and Luca (the Project Xero mascots) do not count for the Art Fight 2025 prompt! Your gift must be for another member, as community mascots do not have an "owner".
INSTRUCTIONS
To submit your gift for this prompt, follow the instructions below!
1. First, upload your gift art or writing to Art Fight and our on-site Galactic Gift Gallery.
2. Fill out all of the related information. Add a title and description, add the character's owner as a Participant, and from the Prompt drop-down box, select "Galactic Gift". Click the "Add Character" button, and add the code for the character(s) featured in the piece. The code can be found on the character's Masterlist entry, it is the last part of the URL for their page or their number on the Masterlist. Submit the piece!
3. Copy the URL of the piece posted to the Gallery, and click "Submit Prompt" for Art Fight 2025.
4. Paste the URL of your gift to the "Submission URL" box. Please include both your Art Fight link AND your Gallery link! You can ignore all of the other fields in the prompt submission. The rewards are added automatically for you!

Clay Creations
Celebrate the Skyfire Festival by creating a clay creature or decorating pottery!

INFORMATION
An integral component of B’Haddu culture is the creation of art using clay, which can range from vessels for everyday use, such as a pitcher or bowl, to decorative sculptures. Clay is a way of life in B’Haddu - it’s important to celebrate that!
Create a creature from the Xero world out of clay, or otherwise paint clay pottery you created. This can be created out of any type of clay, whether it is air dry, kiln fired, or even out of Play-Doh, but it must be created in the real world (so no Blender, Maya, etc.). Additionally, if you elect to paint pottery, you must have created the pottery as well! This prompt must show clear effort and be recognizable as the creature. For example, if you elect to sculpt a Boolew, it cannot be just a clay cylinder, but display common Boolew traits, such as the rhinophore or different legs.
Don't have easy access to clay? Or simply want to try making your own? Try out making your own salt dough using this recipe!
REQUIREMENTS
The photo(s) submitted to this prompt must show good effort and adhere to the following guidelines:
★ The sculpture or painted vessel must clearly display your Xero, another user's Xero (with permission), Ziggy, Luca, and/or any lifeform found on AREZ.
★ Whatever sculpting component you choose must be made by you (ex. making your own vase, or sculpting a Xero).
★ The object must be tangible within the real world.
RESTRICTIONS
★ This prompt may only be submitted once per person.
★ Digital 3D sculptures may not be submitted.
★ No premade works may be used.
★ If you have completed this prompt in the past, you may not submit the same photos again.

INFORMATION
The Nevriset B'Xhadari, also known as the Skyfire Festival, has begun! Each member of AREZ will celebrate the festival in a different way. How does your Xero celebrate the Skyfire Festival? Will they stay up all night to view the stars and play games, or turn in early after too many snacks?
This event prompt can be completed by drawing or writing about how Xeros celebrate and participate in the festival.

When submitting your entry for this prompt, please upload your piece to our Holiday Gallery here! Art & writing uploaded to the Project Xero gallery also earns 5 Prestige.
★ Don't have your own Xero yet? Don't worry, you can draw or write about Ziggy or Luca! You can read all about them on their profiles.
